CREATIVE CHRISTMAS FUN!
Another great day in the woods, saw children making Christmas wreathes from willow and decorating them with woodland cuttings. They continued by making decorations from wood slices and anything else they could find in the wood. See the gallery below!
OCTOBER HALF TERM 2016
We worked with Sea Green School Ilfracombe this half term and had two great days in the woods. On Tuesday 25th October we had a Bush Craft Skills workshop involving den building, fire making and woody games and on Wednesday 26th, an Awesome Autumn Arts and Crafts day where we produced some beautiful artwork inspired by the colours and harvest of autumn.

Bush Craft Skills Workshops – Summer 2016
Sea Green School, Ilfracombe ran a bushcraft day for children on Sunday 3rd July 2016 and then a whole series of very successful children’s activities throughout the summer with half days based in the woods and some whole day activities where time was shared between the woods and discovering Lee Bay’s wonderful, rock pool filled bay. Bluebell Art Day – May 2016
Another brilliant bluebell inspired art day for young people took place on 1st May 2016. The children produced lovely paintings, did some woodland printing and even made origami bluebells. Lunchtime saw us round the campfire with hotdogs. Despite on-off drizzle all day, we got outside to capture the English springtime and everyone went home happy. Looking forward to the next one!

Music Workshops April 2016
Yomer Wood hosted two great music workshops on 5th and 6th April for children from 7-12. Alastair Brown, Bristol Musician and teacher led a fun packed day of exploration in the woods enjoyed by all. Check the Home Movies page for some films. Here are some photos:
